We offer dedicated admissions support for both local and international families, ensuring a smooth enrolment experience.

Enrolment Requirements

St. John’s International Primary & Secondary Schools (SJIP & SJIS) welcome students across a range of age groups and grade levels. Placement is determined by a child’s age and academic background. Please refer to the table below for our grade and age guidelines.

Step-by-Step Admission Journey

We understand that starting a new school is an important step for families. Our admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive, and easy to follow at every stage.

Step 1: Enquiry & Counselling Session

Meet our Admissions Team, enjoy a school tour, and learn about our curriculum.

At this stage, the following documents are required to proceed with the application:

  • Passport-sized photographs (4pcs)
  • Child’s IC (Malaysian)/ Child’s passport (non-Malaysian)
  • Parents’ IC (Malaysian)/ Both parents’ passport (non-Malaysian)
  • Copy of Visa (International Student)
  • Copy of both parents’ Visas (International Student)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • School Leaving Cert/ Transfer Certificate
  • Previous School Examination Results/Progress Report
  • Any Lasallian or Convent Schools Alumni Certificate

Students are required to complete a placement assessment, based on their age and grade level:

Confirm your child’s place by submitting the registration fee and providing any pending documents. Once these are received, the offer letter will be issued.

Upon successful completion of registration and verification of all documents, the official offer letter will be issued within 7 working days.

Following the offer letter, an invoice for the deposit, insurance and first-term school fees will be sent by our Finance team.
